This extension makes it easy to impact your global community by automatically directing your donations to a charity of your choice.

 

Through Global Generosity’s initiative, any online purchase you make will automatically be rounded up to the nearest dollar and the excess will be donated to the charity of your choice. There will also be an option to customize your donation amount. 

 

Global Generosity does not collect any information about your identity or browsing or purchasing activity; we just want to help you give back to those in need every time you shop, without having to search the organization separately.

 

Global Generosity was developed by four University of Washington students. We wrote and published this extension on January 18th, 2020. We hope to contribute to the world in an impactful way.

 

While we encourage everyone to use this extension, we hope you will also find other ways to contribute towards charitable causes you care about by directly donating your dollars, skills, and time. If you are unsure about which charity you want to give to, please check out our recommended organizations. Even if you are unable to donate, it is equally important to spread awareness via social media.
